Established in 1982 by David Wilson, Bartington Forge is a small family run blacksmithing business. Since Davids retirement son Peter has taken over the running of the forge and seeks to offer high quality work with special detail to service. David, however is still involved with masterclasses. Peter is a highly qualified blacksmith and has recently recieved his diploma of merit from the Worshipful Company of Blacksmiths.

Live willow is versatile and grows quickly and easily in many situations. It provides a cheap way to create a landscape feature or some screening or fencing. Most years, we sell a variety of willow for willow structures and for erosion control. This winter, from December 2017 to March 2018, we will only be selling willow for erosion control.
